Tuition Assistance
Florida’s school-choice scholarships can cover some or all of WCA tuition — and thanks to recent changes in state law, most families now qualify.
At Wellington Collegiate Academy, we understand the importance of providing our students with the best possible educational opportunities. As parents, you want to see your child thrive and reach their full potential. That’s why we are delighted to offer a range of scholarships that can help make their dreams a reality.
Investing in your child’s education is an investment in their future success. By encouraging them to apply for scholarships at Wellington Collegiate Academy, you open doors to incredible opportunities.
House Bill 1, signed into law by Governor DeSantis, amplifies scholarship opportunities for parents interested in private education and took effect on July 1, 2023. Wellington Collegiate Academy accepts both the Family Empowerment Scholarships (FES-EO) and the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC). This law eliminates the income restrictions on the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO) and Florida Tax Credit (FTC) scholarships, making all children of Florida residents who are eligible to attend public school in grades K-12 eligible for a scholarship.

Good to Know
Because Florida’s House Bill 1 (effective July 1, 2023) removed the income restrictions on the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO) and the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC), every child of a Florida resident who is eligible to attend a K–12 public school can qualify. WCA accepts both FES-EO and FTC scholarships.
WCA works with all three of Florida’s scholarship pathways: Step Up for Students, the AAA Scholarship Foundation, and the Florida Department of Education.
Florida’s school-choice scholarships can cover some or all of WCA tuition, depending on the program and your family’s eligibility.
